Formal Writing Tasks...Use 8.5 x 11 paper
Print single-sided
All margins should be 1 inch
Use 11 or 12pt font size
Use of Times New Roman, Calibri, or Arial font
Double space (no more, no less)
All pages must be numbered on the top right corner
All packages should be stapled on the left at a 45° angle
All text should be left-justified except titles, which are centred and use title case. All headings and subheadings are left-justified, in title case and italicized
Indent the first line of each new paragraph five spaces (one tab)
Leave only one space after periods or other punctuation marks

APA guidelines...Your essay should be typed, double-spaced on standard-sized paper (8.5" x 11") with 1" margins on all sides. You should use a clear font that is highly readable, such as Calibri 11, Arial 11, Lucinda Sans Unicode 10, Times New Roman 12, and Georgia 11.
Centre the title of the essay, your name and the name of the school (or whatever information your teacher requires) both vertically and horizontally on the first page. Also notes that APA endorses the use of the singular pronoun "they".
